Khoi-Khoi San (The Demon Slayer) The doll that I had was the Demon Slaye Khoi San. We realised that, the Koi rely a lot on their history. Which they still live in isolation. So what I did I gave him a modern apron. To show that we all come from different backgrounds. We need to change with time. We need civilization. We need to adopt. So we are all have historical backgrounds. From Khoi-Khoi San's book: The demon spirits camouflaged The bush spirit enlightened. This is the story This is the truth The truth of time. Khoi is alert and active and new ideas are haunting him and he is ready for action. Khoi has no hands and feet because he can fly using his imagination Khoi was given a specific lake - Tanganyika in Eastern Africa. Reading this journal it brought about different aspects. I realized that Even though the Khoi San nation has their own history and their own life... From his name Khoi-Khoi and his surname San. He is a hunter and is hunting lions, giraffe, rhinoceros and other animals. When his going to hunt his wearing an underwear which was last time a apron, and when his doing his pastoral work as a khoi-khoi his wearing a trousers to avoid dust and sickness; because it says in his book that he must get civilised. |

The Lost Ballerina The Lost Ballerina is a very interesting doll because it has the power to communicate with people. Ballerina, told me to make for her a dress in preparation for her first performance. She also didnt want me to see her face, at least not yet. her favourite song "Ballerina How R U" encourages her to maintain her sportsmanship. The dress, has symbolic messages like red for warmth and blue for a cooler atmosphere. She is delighted!! By the way, she loves vegetables to keep her healthy and strong. She needed a place to live so I made her a home and bedding. So after I realised that she has been a role model to everyone who knows her, I awarded her with a trophy for the most inspirational person. So I made her a trophy and a pillow. She has the most decorative home to suite her personality. |
Amani Ntuthuko Shabangu - Being an African queen from a place full of colours and vibrant tropical climates, Amani could do without layers of clothing. A cool colourful underwear will do the trick for the African doll. Kenneth Tekane - When I met you, Amani rather "You honour". Rea Rea is a disable doll, who need to be fixed all over the body. So he went to the doctor for that but he have been told to get dressed first and after that his body will be fixed. The doctor will put arms and fixe his neck. Rea went to his friend who made for him a kind of dress, man dress and a small scant from his had plus small belt for his hip. The following stage will be the arms and the neck. |
